Van Drivers
Voluntees are needed to drive our 14-seat, wheelchair lift equipped Ford minivan to transport seniors to and from grocery shopping at Redstone Shopping Center and lunch at the Senior Center on Mondays and Fridays. The schedule is 9 am to 4 pm. Volunteer drivers can serve on a regularly assigned day or on an "on-call" basis. You should enjoy older people and be comfortable with those who may need extra assistnce.
To volunteer, you must be at least age 21, have a valid Massachsusetts driver's license and pass a CORI check.
Farmers Market Volunteers
Join us on the Town Common this summer. We need a pool of volunteers to take shifts at the following tables: hospitality, raffles and soda pop sales. Have fun, meet old friends and neighbors you haven't seen lately. Make new friends. There will be plenty of time to shop the farmers' booths at the market. Tentative opening date is Tuesday June 29.
Seamstress
If you have a talent for making window treatments, we need swags made for the windows in the upstairs function hall. If you could donate your time and/or if you know anyone who could donate appropriate fabric, let us know.
Medical Drivers/Patient Escorts
Drivers/patient escorts needed for medical appointments on weekdays. You should enjoy older people and be comfortable with those who may need extra assistnce. Be reliable, punctual and maintain client confidentiality. Provide proof of valid driver's license and auto insurance on your vehicle. CORI check required.
